Here are my logo designs for my artists logo. This would be what appears at the top of my webpage. The logo needs to connect with the artist and the genre and so I designed a few to give me ideas, and then I will put these ideas together to produce my final logo.
Here is my webpage design for our band 'Revolution'. Here I have looked at how I would like the layout of my webpage to be. As you can see, at the top of the webpage I have put a banner with a logo and the band name. Alongside this the banner would have a picture of the band and I would like to adapt the banner and logo to make them into one. I will explore this when i begin to design my logo and banner using Gimp. From my design you can also see that I have included typical conventions of a website, like links to other pages, a title, images and infromation. I have not only took on board the conventions of a website, but the conventions of a website for an artist. For example, below is an example of an 2 different artists webpage (Chris Brown and N Dubz). these are 2 complete different artist however they still hold the same conventions of a website for an artist. for example, they have similar links. These are things like news, music, media, tour, photos, videos, blog and events.
Chris Brown's webpage has it's links on a scroll down navigator which is vertical at the top of the page. Whereas, N Dubz website has their links on a horizontal navigator which appears under their banner, at he top of their page. This shows examples of how and where I can place the links on my own webpage.
